Federation Priorities

 

School Improvement Plan 2023 - 2024

Every year, the school staff and governors come together to identify areas that we feel we need to develop or improve in the coming year. We are constantly improving in all areas, but this is a summary of the main improvement areas for the year ahead. The following information will be shared with your child in class so that everyone is aware of what we are trying to achieve this year. Here’s to a year of success ahead!

Key Improvement Areas 2023—2024

 

Our Curriculum

  • To ensure every child enjoys and understands our curriculum
  • To make sure every child knows subject specific vocabulary
  • To deliver our exciting curriculum in its entirety to everybody

 

ARP (Additional Resourced Provision)

  • To set up our new ARP in the Federation
  • To develop a brand new curriculum and assessment package
  • To integrate some of our ARP children into some lessons in the Infant & Junior School

 

 

 

English​​​​​​​

  • To develop comprehension skills in the Juniors
  • To make sure every child can use phonics in the Infants
  • To develop our handwriting
  • To make sure everybody LOVES reading and hearing stories

EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

  • To continue developing our 'continuous provision' model at the beginning of year 1
  • To continue developing our outside areas for learning
  • To explore potential nursery wraparound opportunities
