At Queenswell we have an Additional Resourced Provision for children with learning and cognitive difficulties.  Our ARP opened in September 2023 and is currently divided into three classes with space for 10 children in each; Owl Class (Reception and Year 1), Woodpecker Class (Year 2 and 3) and Robin Class (Year 4 and 5.)  Our provision has highly skilled and experienced staff who are passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment where all children are enabled to achieve their next steps at their own pace.  Our curriculum is topic based and differentiated appropriately to provide sensory learning opportunities to engage the children.

The children have access to a quiet room, garden and their own playground in the ARP building, all designed to meet their needs.  In the wider school we have a number of outside play and learning environment areas as well as a forest school.  All children have access to mainstream classes, where appropriate, in line with their individual abilities and needs.  ​
